<p>PURPOSE:To detect from outside the signal of a leakage current detecting device provided inside a lightning arrestor without requiring adjustment and also without impairing the reliability in airtightness of the main body of the lightning arrestor. CONSTITUTION:In the lightning arrester having a pressure-releasing-plate- provided airtight container containing the characteristic element 3 such as zinc oxide element and the like, a metal pressure-releasing plate is provided, the leakage current of the lightning arrester is detected, and the detection signal is sent to a sound-emitting part 24 in the lightning arrester. The sound-emitting part 24 emits sound by the detection signal, and the sound is transmitted to the pressure-releasing plate. As a sound-receiving part 25 is provided outside the pressure-releasing plate, the sound is converted into a light signal by a signal converter 27 after the sound is detected by a sound-receiving part 25, and then the movement of accessories is confirmed.</p> |
