METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WINDING SPIRAL SLEEVE

PURPOSE:To provide method and apparatus for automatically winding a spiral sleeve around a long linear body such as a communication cable. CONSTITUTION:When a spiral sleeve 12 is wound automatically around a cable by rotating opposite and holding sections 25 in opposite directions, the spiral sleeve 12 is wound with a marginal part 23 thereof being gripped temporarly at a marginal part containing section 21. This structure prevents occurrence of kink at the time of winding the spiral sleeve 12.
