PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of this personal identification(ID) system so as to be easily adopted also for a system using a normal personal computer and to prevent security from being destructed even if a log-in name or a password is stolen. CONSTITUTION:A personal ID device 2 displays a message on a terminal equipment 1, and after checking the coincidence of a log-in name or a password by collation, reads out security information from the equipment 1, judges whether the security information is correct or not. At the time of judging the validity of the security information, the device 2 judges the person himself (or herself), allows the person to use an electronic computer, forms new security information, and updates the security information of the device 2 and that of the equipment 1. |
