PURPOSE:To provide a Japanese language input device in which a word to be used exclusively by an individual can be registered even in the case that it is used jointly. CONSTITUTION:This Japanese language input device is constituted of an input part 1, a display part 2, a general purpose word dictionary 3, the private word dictionary area 4 of a specified area in the general purpose dictionary 3 designated by a user ID and a user pass word, a word retrieving part 5 which has a function to receive an inputted KANA (Japanese syllabary) character string and retrieve the reading part of the general purpose dictionary 3 and output the reading, the description, and the attribute information such as a part of speech, etc., of the corresponding word, and simultaneously, has a user ID/user pass word registration area 5a, and has the function to retrieve and output the corresponding private word dictionary area 4, a converting part 6 which relays the inputted KANA character string, and delivers it to the word retrieving part 5, and generates the sentence of the mixture of KANJI (Chinese character) and KANA based on the attribute information of the word obtd. as a result, a conversion control part 7 to control a whole device, and an ID/pass word registering part 8 to register the user ID and the user pass word in the registration area 5a for the user ID and the user pass word. |
