PURPOSE:To realize a ferrite core suitable for use in a high frequency region and small in eddy-current loss by a method wherein ferrite sintered layers and high resistance layers of material whose direct current resistivity is higher than that of ferrite which forms the ferrite sintered layer are alternately laminated for the formation of a ferrite core. CONSTITUTION:Ferrite sintered layers 2 are formed of ferrite boards and laminated as bonded together through the intermediary of high resistance layers 3 formed of adhesive agent. A ferrite sintered body higher than the ferrite sintered layer 2 in resistivity is used as the high resistance layer G. By this setup, a high resistance layer is interposed between ferrite sintered layers, so that a laminated core composed of high resistance layers and ferrite sintered layers can be made smaller in eddy-current loss than a solid ferrite more of the same thickness with the laminated core as a whole, because an eddy-current loop is primarily produced in each ferrite sintered layer. |
