PURPOSE:To obtain the toner which has sufficient offset resistance at the time of fixing, is low in the lower limit temp. for fixing, decreases fluctuation in Q/M at the time of environmental fluctuation and with which the fidelity equiv. to the fidelity of an initial image is obtainable in spite of long-term use by forming the toner of a specific polyester resin, fluorine-contained ammonium salt and release agent. CONSTITUTION:This toner contains the polyester resin of <=5KOHmg/g acid value obtd. by condensation polymn. of the diol component expressed by formula I and the acid components expressed by formula II and formula III among the bivalent or higher valency carboxylic acid and its anhydride and its lower elkyl ester, the fluorine-contained quaternary ammonium salt expressed by formula IV and the release agent selected from among carnauba wax, montan wax, etc. In the formula I, R1 denotes a 2 to 4C alkylene group; (x), (y) are positive integers. In the formulas II, III, each of R2 and R3 is a 4 to 20C satd. or unsatd. hydrocarbon group. In the formula IV, each of R1 to R4 is H, a 1 to 10C lower alkyl group, etc.; X is -SO2-, etc.; (m), (n) are positive integers. |
