<p>The apparatus comprises a driven cutter with a sharp edge, a product securing means with a flat lamella, setting members for securing means adjustment, and guides. The latter provide a path for the securing means towards and away from the cutter edge such that the lamella, with its surface slightly inclined, approaches the cutter edge up to a line of contact or near contact. In this position, the product is finished. Spec. the cutter is an endless belt passing over two pulleys, one or both of which are driven.</p> |
