PURPOSE:To provide the positively charged color developer which is free from problems, such as degradation in image density, increase in surface fogging and splashing of toners, and with which many sheets of copies are obtainable without affecting these characteristics by environmental conditions. CONSTITUTION:This developer consists of the positively charged color toner contg. a polyester resin and coloring agents and contg. the compd. expressed by the formula at 0.1 to 10 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. polyester resin and a ferrite carrier coated with a silicone resin having 0.2 to 2.0muA carrier current value. In the formula, each of R1 and R2 denotes H independent from each other, a 1 to 22C alkyl group, allyl group, cyclohexyl group, 1 to 2C alkyl group having a phenyl group or a phenyl group; X<-> denotes anion, where a ring A, cyclic and acyclic radicals may have 1 to 2 pieces of nonionic substitutents and the hydrogen on a parenthesis exists on nitrogen. |
