<p>PURPOSE:To provide the liquid crystal display device provided with TFTs having a LDD structure which can effectively suppress a leak current, averts the generation of the display defect occurring in the fluctuation in the length of the LDD and has good display quality and high accuracy as the liquid crystal display device constituted by using p-SiTFTs. CONSTITUTION:Each of the p-SiTFTs 6 of the active matrix type liquid crystal display device having the p-Si(polycrystalline silicon) TFTs 6 making switching action has two gates 22a, 22b between a source 24 and a drain 25 and has a connecting region consisting of the p-Si contg. the impurity of the amt. smaller than the amt. of the impurity in the source 24 or the drain 25 between channel parts 31a and 31b right thereunder.</p> |
