The key has a strong, steel shaft (1) and a grip (2) of different material. An impact clamping cap (3) of a third material is fitted to the grip end away from the shaft. Pref. the cap is T- or mushroom-shaped, whose stalk (4) extends into the grip and is there positively held by an arm formed on the shaft. The cap stalk has two restrictions (5). Edges (6) on the shaft and grip form a stop for the shaft extending into the grip. USE/ADVANTAGE - For furniture keys as impact protection, with pleasant appearance and damage protection.
