The reinforcement is carried out by securing a strong fibre compound to at least one side of the constructional component(1).The fibre longitudinal sense extends in the direction of the tensile and compression forces effective in the component. Pref.the fibres are secured at least along the component regions exposed to the tensile and compression forces,typically in the region of the entry of the tensile and compression forces.They may be applied over the entire component surface(s). USE/ADVANTAGE - For thermal and noise insulating components,with increased reinforcement,but without destruction of the components.
