A pinned connection of at least two hollow profiled sections (1B, 1C) which are open-ended and butt against each other, has a round rod (3) located in a hollow channel through the sections. One end of the rod has an external thread (10) meshing with an internal thread in one of the sections. The length of the rod is at least that of one of the sections with an external thread on one end locating in a connector (5) between the first rod (3A) and the next rod (3B). The connector has a shoulder (6) which sits against the front face (11) of one section (1B). ADVANTAGE - Has no visible boreholes or bolts.
