The method is for mfr. of a batten, which has several nozzle holders (3) fastened to it by forming. Openings (4) for the nozzle holders are made in a top batten section (1), and the pre-formed holders are plugged into the openings with a smaller shaft end part (3b). The end part are formed from the inside of the top batten section, so that the edges of the opening are clamped between the end parts and retainer parts (3a) of the holders. A lower batten section (2) is fastened to the top one, to form the profile. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simplified mfr. of fuel distributor batten.
