The invention relates to a ski safety binding which comprises a toe part and a heel part and the parts of which are held so as to be adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the ski on guides fixed to the ski and are connected to one another by means of a connecting rod which permits their simultaneous adjustment, a locking device with a handle for deliberate unlocking being provided to secure the position of the binding on the ski, the said locking device being assigned to one of the binding parts and having a lock interacting with the associated guide. To bring about a double function of the locking device, the latter has a second lock (15), which forms a deliberately releasable connection between the aforementioned binding part (26) and the connecting rod (9). The handle (27) has a second unlocking position which affects the second lock. Furthermore, the first lock (11) is assigned to the connecting rod.
