The cabinet has a vertically mounted roller shutter door which is swung upwards to the closed position. The door is locked in the closed position by two spring catches (11) which engage stops (10) fixed to the cabinet side walls. Each catch is L-shaped with an elastically deformable corner area. As the roller shutter is moved upwards over the stop (10) the vertical part of the catch is deflected inwards and then springs outwards to engage the upper surface of the stop and so lock the shutter. The lock is released by a key which actuates a centrally positioned device (9) which is attached by connecting rods (9) to each catch so that the catches are pulled inwards clear of the stops. USE/ADVANTAGE - Roller shutter with two catches which are simultaneously released by the action of a single key.
