<p>PURPOSE:To shorten working time by switching a distortion measurement means and a modem for transferring measurement result by means of a timer and automatically measuring the group delay distortion and attenuation distortion of the entire band with a remote control. CONSTITUTION:In measuring group delay distortion and attenuation distortion, a transmission switching device 3 of a control section 7 is taken to a transmission section 2 and a reception switching device 6 to a reception section 5. In this case, the transmission level for frequency stored in a PROM 9 is referred to so as to correct the distortion due to the characteristic of the transmission section 2 and the reception section 5 of a distortion measurement signal. The end signal for measuring group delay distortion and attenuation distortion is notified to a control section 7 by means of a measurement end detection timer 8. With the end signal, the control section 7 switches the switching device 3 to the transmission section 1 of the modem and the switching device 6 to the reception section 5 of the modem.</p> |
