<p>PURPOSE:To attain high density recording and reproduction for a video signal and an audio signal simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:The device is a moving picture recorder 1 provided with companders 2d1, 2d2 and an ADPCM decoder/encoder 3c in which a digital video signal and a digital audio signal are compressed by the JPEG standard and the ADPCM system at recording and reproduced compressed data are expanded at reproduction, and with a magneto-optical disk driver 6a, a hard disk driver 6b and a semiconductor memory 6c used for the recording and reproduction.</p> |
