PURPOSE:To make it possible to charge more than one secondary batteries simultaneously and to make a charge control circuit not to susceptible to heating of a transforming/rectifying circuit by a constitution wherein a charger is separated such that a charge control circuit section is disposed above while a transforming/rectifying circuit section is disposed below and contact terminals arranged at the charge control circuit section are connected with secondary batteries. CONSTITUTION:A charge control circuit section 6 and a transforming/rectifying circuit section 7 are constituted independently in a charger 2. An AC 100V plug 3 is plugged into an AC 100V receptacle thus bringing the charger 2 into operating state. When a secondary battery, e.g. a thin enclosed lead battery, is contained in the charger 2 and connected with contact terminals 5, a charge indicating lamp 4 is lighted. The charge indicating lamp 4 unlights upon finish of charging operation of the secondary battery. According to the constitution, an appliance can be operated even during charging operation so long as a spare battery is provided while furthermore heat dissipation effect is enhanced. |
