PURPOSE:To prolong the lifetime of a battery by specifying the composition ratio of the discharge product against vanadium pentoxide in the case of a supposition that all lithium of a negative electrode active material layer is changed to the discharge product by the discharge reaction. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode active material layer 2 mainly composed of V2O5 and a negative electrode active material layer 4 containing Li are laminated through a solid electrolyte layer 3 to form a battery. Content of lithium in the negative electrode active material layer 4 is decided so that the (x) value of the discharge product in the case of a supposition that all Li of the negative electrode active material layer 4 is changed to the discharge product LixV2O5 is set at 1.15-1.50. Even in the case where the battery is discharged perfectly, the discharge product is almost returned to the charge product by charging, and even in the case where charge and discharge is repeated, the capacity of the battery can be maintained high. |
