PURPOSE:To edit a logical structure about a multimedia document, and to easily obtain the corresponding relation of the logical structure of the document with a layout structure. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a tree structure converting part 30 which converts the logical structure of the document including a multimedia into to three structure, tree structure display part 32 which displays the tree structure indicating the logical structure of the document, logical structure editing part 34 which edits the logical structure indicated by the tree structure based on input data, medial identifying part 18 which identifies the classification of the media equivalent to a node selected from the displayed tree structure, editor control part 38 which controls an editor corresponding to the identified media, allocation designation part 20 which operates a layout corresponding to the tree structure, layout display part 40 which displays a layout, link control part 22 which controls a relation between the nodes, detecting part 24 (logical position detecting part 42 and a layout position detecting part 44) which detects the mutual corresponding position of the tree structure with the layout. |
