PURPOSE:To provide a Japanese language converter capable of converting a KANJI(Chinese character) idiom at a time even in the case that the correct original reading of the KANJI idiom is unknown. CONSTITUTION:A central processing unit 100 stores a character string inputted from a keyboard 120, and first of all, converts it by the dictionary 131 of the original reading. Then, in the case that it could convert it by the dictionary 131 of the original reading, it displays the read out KANJI idiom, KATAKANA (square form of Japanese syllabary), and HIRAGANA(cursive Japanese syllabary) as a converted candidate, and in the case that it could not convert it, it reads out the reading of the dictionary 132 of the combination of Chinese reading and Japanese reading, and compares it with the inputted character string, and if both coincide with each other, it reads out the KANJI idiom, KATAKANA, and HIRAGANA corresponding to this reading. |
