PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of the howling phenomenon, by providing a vibration suppressing spring in the color pircture tube at least on one of the inner walls of a funnel and the shielding unit for internal magnetism. CONSTITUTION:The color picture tube is constructred principally by a panel 31 applied with a fluorescent screen, neck 33 connected to said panel 31 through a funnel 32, electron gun 34 housed within said neck 33, shadown mask 35 arranged on the panel inner face with a prescribed space therebetween, mask frame 36 for holding said shadown mask 35 and panel pins 38 each, for supporting said mask frame 36 through a spring 37. To the inner wall of the funnel 32 is contacted a vibration suppressing spring 43 that generates a friction resistance at an end of an internal magnetism shielding unit 39. |
