<p>PURPOSE:To highly efficiently compensate the loss of information blocks or generated code error without any interruption by using one error correcting decoded result and decoding the other error correcting code. CONSTITUTION:At a transmission side node 21, a first error correcting encoding part 51 encodes all the information blocks to be transmitted, and the generated information is further turned to error correcting codes for each row of a matrix by second error correcting encoding parts 521-52n. The error correcting encoded information blocks are respectively transmitted through same transmission lines 311-31n to a reception side node 22. At the node 22, the second error correcting codes are decoded by second error correcting code decoding parts 531-53n, the loss position of the information blocks is detected, and the code error is corrected. Next, a first error correcting code decoding part 54 performs erase correcting decoding to the first error correcting code by using the loss information obtained by decoding the second error correcting code so as to restore the erased information block.</p> |
