<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a display device which can be easily operated, less in error, and can display the buried position and depth of a metallic body buried in concrete irrespective of the state of the floor surface or wall surface to be measured below which the metallic body is buried. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with a winding holding body 1 which is brought into contact with a floor surface or wall surface to be measured, planar display device 13 arranged above the holding body, magnetism generating device 2 which generates magnetic lines of force against the floor surface or wall surface to be measured, a plurality of probes which detect the magnetic lines of force, and arithmetic processor 12 which finds the position of the metallic body buried below the floor or wall surface from the outputs of the probes 5. The position of the metallic body is graphically displayed at the corresponding location on the screen of the device 13 on the basis of the output of the processor 12.</p> |
