PURPOSE:To prevent peeling and deterioration in insulation of a film caused by water-absorption by an adhesive agent, and to use a waterproof flat cable in an atmosphere of high humidity by coating a conductor with an electrically insulating synthetic resin film through a waterproof adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:A waterproof adhesive agent is applied to an electrically insulating synthetic resin film or polyester film (PET film) 3 and a waterproof adhesive agent layer 2 is formed, on which a conductor or copper foil 1 is placed. It is half-cut by a Victoria blade to remove superfluous copper foil, and a five- stripe wiring pattern is thus formed. A PET film 3 separately standardized, on which the adhesive agent layer 2 is formed, is adhered to the surface of the PET film on which the wiring pattern is formed, and then it is stamped into a desired form by a press, and a flat cable F is thus formed, in which the adhesive agent is fully filled between the respective wiring patterns. Water absorption by the adhesive agent or hydrolysis due to the water absorption can thus be prevented. |
