PURPOSE:To provide a controller common to converters for multiple systems being operated asynchronously in which identical operation results are outputted constantly for external control signals. CONSTITUTION:The controller for AC/DC converting system, in which interchange of power among a plurality of AC/DC converters is controlled while operating each of at least duplex systems asynchronously, comprises a digital input circuit 22 receiving an interchanging power set value, an emergency interchanging power set value, an emergency interchanging power direction signal, and an emergency interchanging power command signal, a CPU 17 operating an interchanging power command value, a serial communication circuit 23 for communicating interchanging power command value data between converter controllers 6 for respective systems, a circuit for making a selection between the data communicated through the communication circuit 23 and an interchanging power command value operated through each controller based on an external signal, and a serial communication circuit 23 delivering an output from the selecting circuit as a final interchanging power command value. |
