The clothes drier, designed to fit outside a window, consists of one or more sets of transverse rods connected to lengthwise side members by sliding rings. The rods and side-pieces can be, for example, in two sets attached to a central vertical pivot about which they can be rotated, with the pivot connected to the window surround by one or more rigid bars and a guy line. The two sets of rods can be covered with a layer of protective material to give the clothes being dried shelter from rain or anything else which might fall on them. ADVANTAGE - More covenient to use, with improved protection for articles being dried.
