PURPOSE:To give intra-store information such as the queuing-up state of customers, a halt state and a sales promotion message to the customers departed from a POS terminal in a POS system used in a large-sized supermarket and the like. CONSTITUTION:When the customers queue up in a sensor part 1, a switch bar is depressed, and the POS terminal 3 judges to what extent the customers are queued up. A judged result is transmitted to a store computer 4, and a congested situation judgement part 6 judges whether the respective POS terminals are vacant or not compared with others. When they are vacant, the effect is displayed from the store computer 4 on an information display 2 installed at a place where it is easy to be viewed in a store. The sales promotion message is simultaneously displayed on the screen of the information display 2 in addition to the congested situation. |
