PURPOSE:To enhance the operating efficiency of the title apparatus by a method wherein the uniform tension of a strip material is obtained easily even when the kind of the strip material differs. CONSTITUTION:When a hoop-shaped strip material 1 is drawn and its diameter is reduced gradually, a control means 8 controls a brake 9 as the diameter is reduced gradually, and the load of the drawing force of the hoop-shaped strip material 1 is changed. As a result, the tension of the hoop-shaped strip material 1 can be made uniform. Consequently, it is not required for an operator to calculate the tension each time and to operate a variable resistor for brake- force adjustment, and the operating efficiency of the title apparatus can be increased. Since the title apparatus is provided with an uncoiler 2, a winding part 7, a meandering correction part, a cutting part and the control means 8, the title method can be executed surely. |
