发明名称 QUICK ANALYZING METHOD FOR STEEL TURNING
摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten the time of analysis and to analyze steel turnings quickly without special technology and reagent by cleaning the sample comprising the steel turnings with ultrasonic waves, performing drying and sampling, pressing the sample together with a metal bowl, forming the briquette sample, performing flurescent X-ray analysis for the sample, using the fluorescent X-rays of the cut powder of a standard sample as a calibration curve, and reading the content of each component. CONSTITUTION:A sample is pressed with a press machine together with a metal bowl 1, and the briquette sample, whose surface is the uniform plane, is formed. An aluminum ring 3 is mounted on the sample 2 so as to press the sample. Then, flexibility is provided, and the briquette sample having the uniform plane is readily formed. When X-rays are applied to the sample and absorbed, the sample 2 emits the same wavelength for the slightly longer wavelength for about 10<-9> second. The intensity is measured, and the chemical component in the sample is evaluated. The intenisty of the emitted light is proportional to the density of the fluorescent component in the sample. A standard sample, with which the sample having the known component is formed in the same state, is manufactured. The X-rays are cast, and the reflected fluorescent X-rays are used as a calibration curve. The quantity of the chemical component in the sample is evaluated by comparison with the calibration curve. The time of the analysis is shortened to 1/10 or less.
