PURPOSE:To reproduce a natural video image without a sense of disorder at the changeover of a still picture and a moving picture without reflected noise by omitting conversion of an operation clock rate and providing an in-frame 2-dimension filter to the post-stage of inter-frame interpolation in the still picture processing. CONSTITUTION:The decoder is provided with a luminance signal processing section implementing all signal processing for a luminance signal in a MUSE signal at an operating rate of 32.4MHz and with an in-frame 2-dimension filter 12 eliminating a reflected component in the field direction after the inter-frame interpolation in the still processing. That is, the in-frame 2-dimension filter 12 is provided after the inter-frame interpolation section 7 in a still picture processing section 11. Thus, all blocks of a luminance signal processing section of the MUSE decoder are operated by a frequency of 32.4MHz and a natural video image without inclusion of reflected noise is reproduced both from a still picture and a moving picture. |
