PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for designation of a picture output destination for each job and to use efficiently each image forming device in the image forming system provided with a picture signal output means or a picture read means and plural image forming means. CONSTITUTION:Output priority to printers 10, 20 being plural image forming means is set from scanners 1-4 being plural image read means and a printer is selected according to the priority set by a system controller 11 on an image forming request output from the scanners 1-4. When the printer with a highest priority is executing other image forming or not available of image forming, a printer whose priority is second priority or which is restored quickly to the image forming enable state or whose image forming during execution is fast finished and whose image forming on request is expected to be started fastest by taking the convenience and the efficiency into account is selected. |
