PURPOSE:To efficiently adjust the brightness of each module of the LED display device. CONSTITUTION:When a display screen is constituted, the brightness of light emitting elements in module or dot units is measured by a brightness measuring means 11 in advance, and brightness adjustment mask data which are required to make the brightness uniform by a brightness adjustment mask data generating means 12 are generated according to the brightness distribution and stored in a storage means 13. Then when the display device is turned ON, the brightness adjustment mask data in the storage means 13 are transmitted to a brightness adjusting means 23 and the brightness of the light emitting elements at respective positions is automatically adjusted to make the brightness uniform.
