<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to display a message relating to the detailed contents, operation procedure, etc., of a displayed error message while using an existing application soft or tools on the market as it is. CONSTITUTION:When an error message is displayed on the screen of a CRT 4 during the depression of a key, an operator depresses a processing start key formed on a keyboard 1. As the result, a file selecting means 6 reads out table contents from a registered file sorting table 7. Then the operator depresses a prescribed key to select one of file names stored in the table 7. Then a cursor position is set up to an error message by operating a cursor key and the contents of the error message are read out by an error message reading means 5. When an execution key is depressed, a help message reading means 8 inputs the contents of a selected help message file 9 and reads out a help message corresponding to the error message. The help message is displayed on the CRT 4.</p> |
