PURPOSE:To achieve interdiction processing in a ruled-line frame in respect of a processing method for a line head interdicted character by transposing the line head interdicted character to a pattern combined with the ruled line of the end of a preceding line, or transposing it to the pattern combined with the ruled line of the end of the preceding line at the time of output after adding previously a control code to it when the character inputted within the ruled-line frame is positioned at the head of the line. CONSTITUTION:A character generator to store the pattern in which the line head interdicted character and the ruled line are combined, and an intra-ruled-line-frame line head interdiction detecting part 2 to replace the ruled line of the end with a character code to express the pattern of the combination of the line head interdicted character and the ruled line of the end of the preceding line when it is detected that the character inputted within the ruled-line frame is the line head interdicted character and in addition, it is positioned at the head of the line are provided, and the pattern in which both taken out of the character generator are combined is outputted at the time of the output on the basis of the character code replaced by the intra-ruled- line-frame line head interdiction detecting part 2. |
