The cushion has padding (11) which is covered by a cover (10) with a decorative upper surface (1). Its front part (9) is curved downwards to correspond to the rounded front edge (8) of the seat. The front of the cushion is kept in shape by a shell (12), made in rigid plastics material. The shell is bonded (13) to the padding and is near the bottom of the cover (14). The shell can be replaced by a framework of ribs or by a layer of foam between two covering strips which is shaped by heating. USE - Shaped cushion for garden furniture such as chair or lounger.
