PURPOSE:To make the surface smooth and improve the heat transfer efficiency from heating elements to the outside by coupling the heating elements in holes of a wiring board, connecting them to an electrode face, sticking electric insulating sheets on both faces of the board, then fitting a radiating plate on the whole surface. CONSTITUTION:Printed wires 4a, 4b are formed on the surface of a board 3, holes 3 are bored at preset positions, and disk-like heating elements 2 made of a positive-characteristic thermistor are coupled in the holes 3. The heating elements 2 and lead wires 8 are soldered to the wires 4a, 4b with solders 10, 11 respectively. Insulating sheets having electric insulation property, heat resistance, water-proofness, water resistance, and airtightness are stuck on both faces of the board 3. A hole for inserting the lead wires 8 is opened at the center portion of the electrode side sheet 6. A radiating plate made of a metal such as aluminum or copper is fitted on the radiating plate side sheet with a thermosetting adhesive. A plate heater having a smooth radiating face can be simply obtained. |
