PURPOSE:To provide an image editor capable of performing non-routine image edit with superior operability. CONSTITUTION:When the image areas 11a-11c, 12a-12c of input originals 11, 12 for routine edit, and the arbitrary image area 13a of an input original 13 for non-routine edit are synthesized and copied on an output original 18 by segmenting them, the image areas 11a-11c of the input original 11, and the image areas 12a-12c of the input original 12 are segmented sequentially by a fixed edit parameter first, and they are copied on the prescribed position of the output original 18. Following that, an arbitrary edit parameter is generated by reading in an input instruction sheet 6 in which instruction marks 7a. 7b are attached at an arbitrary segmenting position, thence, the image area 13a is segmented by reading in the input original 13 for non-routine edit by using the edit parameter. The image area 13a is copied on the prescribed position of the output original 18. |
