Printing-ink composition having a high degree of wear resistance, which comprises (a) a dispersion of a pigment in a vehicle containing a C7-C40 oil and (b) a polymeric latex in emulsion in the said dispersion. When used for high-speed printing, the ink composition preferably has added to it an anti-mist (anti-fog) additive, such as tridecylic acid phosphate, phosphoric acid, glycerol or propylene carbonate. When the cost is not the principal concern, the ink composition preferably has added to it a polytetrafluoroethylene wax.
