PURPOSE:To generate an image in a short time after the measurement of a patient is completed by reading out compensation data for compensating sensitivity differences between each detector from a correction data memory and compensating the differences in real times. CONSTITUTION:Correction data for compensating sensitivity differences between each detector 20 are collected in advance before starting measurement and stored in a correction data memory 12. At the time of performing the measurement, corresponding detector correction data are read out from the memory 12 based on the data detected by each detector 20 and the detected data are immediately corrected. While the detection by each detector 20 is performed at every fixed time, no delay occurs in the measurement, since the correction of each detected value can be sufficiently performed within the time interval. Corrected detected values are stored in a data collecting memory 15 correspondingly to the detectors 20 and a picture reconstitution circuit 16 generates an image based on the collected detected values and a display 17 displays the image.
