PURPOSE:To improve operability by copying the desired part of an original without specially necessitating a space. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a scanning mode, and when a user instructs the scanning mode on a control board 150B, an exposure lamp 112 is driven for scanning by a scanner motor in a state where an image forming system 120 is inhibited to be driven, and then, the original is illuminated. And also, original pressing bars 3a and 3b are mounted on an original pressing plate 2, and the original is fixed by the original pressing bars 3a and 3b outside the area of a contact glass 111 in a state where the original pressing plate 2 is pressed up. The original is sandwiched between a freely rotatable magnetic ball 7a(7b) installed at the inside of the original pressing bar 3a(3b) and a magnet 13a(13b) arranged on the upper surface of the device and on the position corresponding to the magnetic ball 7a(7b) so as to be fixed. |
