PURPOSE:To plot plural polygons or ROIs and to easily generate new ROI information by combining generated polygon and ROI information by using a means capable of generating new two-dimensional and three-dimensional ROI information by simple designation. CONSTITUTION:The region of interest(ROI) is expressed as an aggregate in which one or more polygons 35 are linked, and information such as a slice position in a direction of Z, a frame position in a direction of time base T, and a logic function to regulate relation between the polygons are attached on each polygon information. Thereby, a three-dimensional or four-dimensional ROI can be expressed by attaching spatial/temporal position information on the polygon generated in two-dimensional coordinate space. Also, it is possible to easily generate the three-dimensional polygon of circular cylinder or rectangular parallelopiped by handling one polygon in the same ROI by changing the slice position and to share the same polygon among the plural polygons by managing by separating the polygon from the ROI by a logical operation. |
