The radial compressor has an arrangement for influencing the main flow where a flow medium connection (70) runs into the circulation chamber (14) via one or more bores (73) in the housing (10). The bore opens into one or more places in the circulation chamber. A flow medium can be introduced through the flow medium connection to give a required condition in the circulation chamber. USE/ADVANTAGE - Allows flows conditions in exhaust gas turbocharger to be varied to increase torque at low engine speeds and to reduce exhaust gas emissions.
