The transmission device (1) has a U-shaped carrier rail (2) supporting an extruded plastics profile (10) which is bent into a curve and which incorporates a metal screening mesh (15). The free ends of the mesh project from the plastics profile to provide screening contact surfaces (18) which contact one another along the vertical centre longitudinal axis (MLE) of the carrier rail. The hollow interior (20)of the plastics profile receives a metal slip conductor (21) cooperating with a take-off shoe. The screening contact surfaces lie parallel upon the insertion of the take-off shoe. ADVANTAGE - Effective screening between inside of extruded plastics profile and carrier rail.
