Air lock filter - has filter box at outer side of chamber door and can be used for chambers of varying sizes

The filter system for a protective zone, such as a decontamination air lock, has a filter box at the outer side of the gas-tight sliding door in the chamber wall or a swing door (1) mounted on hinges (3,4). Pref. the air entry openings (7) also act as the openings for filling with sand, at the upper cross beam (6) of the door (1). The air outlet openings (10) are at the bottom of the door, separated by shells (9) from the sand filling. A hand ventilator (12) is connected to the air outlet (10) by a pref. elastic tube (11), and is supported (14) in the door opening at the frame in the chamber wall. The door (1) has a gas-tight closing action through locks and seals at the side opposite the hinges (4) or at both sides. USE/ADVANTAGE - The filter is for the air lock or other protective chamber for decontamination and the like. The filter system can be used for chambers of all sizes, shapes and applications, simply produced and used.
