The spring box (E), together with the mattress (D) and the grid (I), are separated from the rest (C) of the sofa by being pulled out from the back rest along rollers (G) or sliding tracks. The grid and mattress are those used for normal beds, the mattress measuring 90x190 cm. The bars (H) act as stops when pushing the bed back into the sofa. The mattress can be separable form the grid so that the spring box can also be used to sleep on. ADVANTAGE - Provides a full sized bed with minimum time necessary for construction and minimum space being taken up. Does not contain any complicated nor expensive folding mechanisms.
