In so-called cold light halogen spotlights in particular, the IR radiation generated by the halogen lamp (6) represents a problem, since on the one hand it should not be forwardly reflected in a parallel direction to the visible radiation fraction, and on the other hand it can lead to an accumulation of heat in the rear part of the lamp housing (1) that could damage the lamp and in particular destroy the lamp control electronic elements (9) housed in the foot (5) of the lamp. These problems are solved by several means that can be separately applied or combined. On the one hand, they prevent as much as possible the heat from the lamp from being transferred to the foot (5) of the lamp, and on the other hand they allow the IF radiation fraction to be forwardly reflected in a non-disturbing manner. |
