After tension screw head (4a) passes through bore during assembly, two clip yokes (1,2) are moved parallel towards each other in longitudinal direction of angled tabs (1a,2a) at end until bore adjoins screw shaft. The screw head can then no longer pass back through bore. The screw is tightened and two tabs are tensioned against each other. The lock (3) is then driven by spring (5) such as elastic ring into opposite remaining free cross-section. The lock is pref. supported like swivel lever on tab of first yoke. USE/ADVANTAGE - Hinged pipe clip with easier fitting using short tension screw which is secured against loss.
