PURPOSE:To display a prescribed frame easily and speedily at need through simple keying operation by inputting and storing coordinate data which correspond to the line number and digit number of the frame used for character- string editing, etc., on a display screen. CONSTITUTION:For the constitution of an indent frame, the numbers of a line and a digit on a display screen where indents are arranged are inputted after characters R and C interposed with commas. For example, R, 3, 6, and 9 are inputted for a line and C, 2, 5, and 8 are inputted for a digit; and a frame key is pressed to display indents ID from the 3rd to 9 lines, and from the 2nd to 8th digits, and further idents ID are displayed inside fo them for sectioning on the 6th line and 5th digit, thus constituting the frame. Indent codes necessary for the constitution of the frame are stored in a data buffer memory and at the same time, they are displayed successively at prescribed coordinate positions on the CRT screen, thus displaying the necessary frame. |
