PURPOSE:To erase a recorded magnetic tape during winding if necessay by operating an erase head pivotally supported by a shaft rotatably to slide the erase head selectively to a magnetic tape travelling while being wound around a pair of reel boards. CONSTITUTION:When an operation button 54 is slid in the direction of an arrow C, a sliding level 47 is also slid in the direction C, a lever 53 is turned around a supporting shaft 48 and a lever 35 is slid in the direction of an arrow B. Consequently, a head holder turning level 32 is rotated in the direction of an arrow A by a tension spring 36, a head holder 27 is turned in the clockwise direction and the erasing head 25 advances in the tape travelling path and press-contacted to the magnetic tape T travelling the tape travelling path. At that time, a pin holding lever 39 fitted to the upper surface of the lever 32 is turned and the magnetic tape T is pressed to the erasing head 25 by a pair of tape fitting pins 37, 38 vertically fixed on the lever 39. |
